What is Medical Rolling?

Medical Rolling has be scientifically proven to have a positive effect on acne scarring, anti-ageing skin, pigmentation and Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT)

Medical Rolling involves rolling small micro ? needles over the skin, which creates thousands of miniature skin wounds that result in the stimulation of Collagen 3 and this in turn forms Collagen 1.

These small puncture wounds break down the collagen putting it in repair mode, the channels will allow any vitamin infusions applied on the skin, to gain access to the deeper and viable skin layers.

The new collagen ?pushes? the old scar tissue toward the upper skin layers. Your skin will experience improved circulation and will feel plumped and hydrated. Fine lines and wrinkles are softened, pigmentation (sun-induced freckles) reduced and pore size is minimised.

Does it hurt?

You will have a topical anaesthetic applied for 1 hour prior to your session so you are comfortable during your session.We highly recommend you start using Environs? AVST moisturisers 2-3 weeks prior to your treatment; this will encourage the most effective results.

Is it safe?

Medical Rolling can be safely repeated every 6-8 weeks until you achieve the desired results. You will see results immediately however the best results can take up to 90 days as the new collagen is formed. With over many thousands of treatments performed worldwide, no negative effects have been reported. This treatment is also suitable for darker skin types as there is no risk of hyper pigmentation.

Needling is suitable for all skin types, except those with active skin conditions or auto ? immune conditions.

Post treatment the skin may have a red, inflamed appearance with a similar sensation to sunburn. The skin may also feel tight. This will subside in a few days.

At Escape we strictly use one sterile roller per client per treatment, we never re use rollers.

All clients will require a thorough consultation prior to their treatment to assess their skin is suitable, appropriate home care will also be advised for best results.
